Day 22

-bit behind getting out the door...my roommate grabbed the bathroom first. I gotta give her credit though, shes usually super quick.
-first thing I saw today (Its all blurry cause I still had sleep in my eyes)

-The coldness is already here (this is suppose to be one of the coldest winters in a very long time)

-living in New York has made me want a Bull Dog (I see at least 5 a day)
-This dog was playing the don't friggin move a muscle game.

-hey look, bikers.

-I think the two on the right could tell I was taking a picture of them (definitely Europeans)

-Got to work..had an awesome little multitasking set up going (2 mbook pros 1 for rendering one for tech drawings)(forgot to take a pic of it though)
-Charlie and the other cats were ideating over different color choices

-Organic food day was top notch (cheese sandwhich, pomiganite seeds, organic vegies w/ a sack of almonds, and some sort of apple bread bar)

-worked on some more renders and techs for the rest of the day

-modular candle holder
-trivet set
-cologne bottle
-table top timer
-kitchen timer
-Around 6.5 we headed out to meet up with the graphic designer to talk about the new RBW site

-got there...walked up 4 flights of stairs. (original stairs and walls from the 30's at least)

-sat down and for some reason half of the lights cut off.

-after about 10 min of standing in a very delicately lit room. I felt my legs get a little tired so i decided to sit on one of the panton chairs around the studio. I soon moved to the couch were my eyes began rolling back in my head while I started doing the head bang think that sleepy people do when they're desperatley trying to stay awake.
-as a way of waking myself up I tried to Twitter "totally bout to pass out". Instead, I wrote this.

-eventually I woke up a bit...it was pretty interesting listening to the guys, the graphic artist and the programmer (from AOL & Google) talk and understand what it takes to pimp out a website.
-Once we left the desire to engulf a cheese steak overcame my stomach.
-I went all out and got the cheese fries...it was so sinfully american.

-came home and passed out for about 3 hours. Bout to go back for more and totally getting up way early tomorrow.
-Happy October.

Day 20

-got out the door walked 2 blocks and even though it doesnt really matter if I'm a little late or not wth these guys I decided to run.

-being that it was 9:46 I started to think about my days running track in highschool and figured if I could run a 13 min mile I could surely make it there by 10:00.
-being that I still have a quart of gunk in my lungs from this unfortunate cold...I realized after running 10 blocks that it wasnt a great idea.
-got there right on time
-I walked into studio beet red and completely out of breath...we had a good laugh
-started working on corrections to the Areaware projects (they're starting to look pretty niiice)

-I ideated with alex over the design of the table top timer a bit and we came to a very simple clean-muji-esq design.
-got a prosciutto/ caprese cheese pannini for lunch
-I kept having coughing fits, to avoid spreading this miserableness i put on a dusk mask (which I pretty much wore the entire day)
-I finished all the changes to the models (just havta render and make some tech drawings) (cant wait to see these things manufactured)
-left around 6
-this muscinex seems to get my thirst into high gear so I got me some grape drank at the Bodega on the corner

-It was quite nasty outside walking home

-the lonely woman at the cafe

-This pic is just rad

-let the nasty water get a little less nasty before i went out to grab some food and medication
-went to the deli downstairs (got a club samich)

-went to Duane Reade (Wallgreens)

weekend action 02

Saturday

-met up with pamage and her amazing Gma
-I was hungry as a horse so I got a chicken parmesan sandwich while they went dress shoppin

-went and chilled for a bit a Union square park and watched some breakdancers rip it up

-saw some Buddhist monks protesting the Junta presence in Myanmar

-saw a Columbian Juggler

-saw pams Gma off at the Bus station
-bought a foldable toothbrush and sketchbook from the Muji store

-walked through times square a bit

-got home and realized that scratch in the back of my throat was turning into something less desirable
-went to the drug store and bought some vitamins, some rip off immune system booster junk, and some chicken noodle soup (the soup courtesy of pamage)

-hit the hay around not sure what time.

Sunday
-awoke around 1.5 oclock
-had brunch with the roommates (i feel like such a yuppie saying 'brunch')
-ever since these Dyslexic eyes first read the classic Dr. Seuss book, I have always had a hankering for Green Eggs and Ham...today, the chance came to cure that hankering.

-Wasn't quite what I expected (eggs mixed with a pesto sauce on ham and a english muffin) but it was still wonderful.
-nice bluegrass band playing up front made me miss Texas just a tad ;)

-I had to part with everyone due to not having a single clean pair of clean clothing to my name (thats a lie I have a few pairs of boxers and sweaters, but I haven't worked up enough courage to wear that in public yet)
-got to the washateria. crammed every dirty piece of laundry I had into that tiny little washer (I was postive one of the little chinese ladies was going to come yell at me...but they didn't..cause they're cool like that)

-while caught in another trace watching my clothes spin around covered in suds, the radio inevitably started playing phil collins (for those who don't know me, just know that I have hated phil collins since I was a little boy...and every waiting type of place I go to ( i.e. a shuttle ride, grocery store or washateria) always has him blasting...its literally like Im stuck in some bad Disney soundtrack.

-As I was waiting to cross the street I noticed this woman...I was intrigued by how strong willed and independent she seemed to be. To me, that is true beauty.
-met up with Pamage again for a movie (District 9)

-sat next a wonderful Dominican girl whom felt the urge to call everyone and their mom during the most important parts of the movie.
-got home to my awesome little twin air mattress and opened a can of sleep
