-caught another cab this morn (a bit strange being in a cab with no dividers)
-got to work and got things all nice and ready for the Areaware pres
-walked over a few streets and up the stairs to the Areaware office
-presented the projects to Noel and Laura (head peeps of Areaware) and took some notes
breakdown of the notes
Rotary timer "DIAL"
-scale timer disk down to the size of a regular phone dial (3-4" Diameter)
-materials discussed: Corian and other plastics, Porcelain, wood, painted metal
-under $50
-pursue same language as coat rack
-gradient behind circle
-RBW to propose second colorway
Bell Timer "LIBERTY BELL"
-"looks like a ghost"-Noel
-key to being a good product is having a genuine Bell ding
-have to be able to hear it from the toilet
-Ding could be a mechanical spectacle
-beautiful noise = classic
Trivets
-want material variations
-materials (bottom to top): cork, silicone, wood
-Under $40 moves as gift
-packaging: pizza box style
Stool
-sell it flat packed or assembled
-make a prototype of leg
-not visually appealing with two different materials
-looks top heavy
-Laura really liked the stool version better than bar stool
-pursue mini bench combination or table
-they would like people to start coming to Areaware for small apartment solutions
